The TOPREITER Outdoor Rain Rug is a durable horse rug designed for wet and changeable weather. The hard-wearing 600D ripstop polyester combines a waterproof rating of up to 10,000 mm with breathability of up to 10,000 g/m²/24 h. This helps keep your horse dry even in heavy rain while allowing excess moisture to escape.
The fleece lining provides comfortable warmth while also supporting a light wicking function. It absorbs moisture from the horse's coat and helps transport it towards the outside – particularly practical in changeable weather and for horses that become slightly damp underneath the rug.
A key advantage is the detachable neck cover. It extends the weather protection over the horse's neck in rain and wind and can be removed when it is not needed. This allows the rain rug to be adapted flexibly to different weather conditions and situations.
The closure system is designed for a secure and well-closed fit. In addition to the adjustable front closures at the chest, the rug features a hook-and-loop fastening that helps keep the front securely closed. Cross surcingles underneath the belly provide additional stability, while the cut allows the horse plenty of freedom of movement in the field or paddock.
Available in 125 cm and 135 cm, the rain rug is also suitable for smaller horses and horses within the Cob size range. This makes it particularly suitable for Icelandic horses and other more compact horse types – the individual measurements of the horse should always be considered when choosing the correct size.
Reflective TOPREITER details run along the sides of the rug and improve visibility in low-light conditions. The reflective elements combine a practical function with the characteristic TOPREITER design.
The Outdoor Rain Rug is available in two distinctive designs: vibrant pink for an eye-catching look and a leopard print featuring natural beige, brown and black tones. Both versions combine functional weather protection with a distinctive equestrian look.
